Description
This element represents the Nevada Broadcasters Association, which is the partnership responsible for distributing information for Amber/Silver Alerts (Amber Alert is existing, Silver Alert is in the future). Local law enforcement is responsible for the Amber Alert declaration. Local law enforcement then notifies the Nevada Broadcasters Assn, who is in turn responsible for notifying NDOT and others to disseminate the Alert information. Law enforcement frequently contacts NDOT directly but the official policy is that NDOT is contacted by Nevada Broadcasters Association. The Association is a partnership of three radio stations.
