Description
The state of California is the neighboring state immediately to the west of the project study area. Some coordination and communication currently takes place between the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and various state and local transportation and public safety agencies in Nevada. The majority of the coordination between the state currently focuses on the I–15 corridor south of Las Vegas, which is the primary surface transportation route between Southern California and the Las Vegas area.
