Bureau of Reclamation
Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) is best known for the dams, powerplants, and canals it constructed in the 17 western states. BOR operates and maintains the Hoover Dam infrastructure, including public safety, security and traffic management functions. BOR interacts with NDOT, ADOT, NHP, Arizona DPS and other local and regional public safety agencies to manage traffic in the vicinity of the Hoover Dam.
